Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 cups seasoned dry bread crumbs

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the crushed garlic and cook for a minute, letting the garlic infuse the butter.
  • Dip each chicken breast into the butter-garlic mixture, allowing any excess to drip off, then coat the chicken thoroughly with the bread crumbs.
  • Arrange the coated chicken breasts in a lightly greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Combine any leftover butter and garlic mixture with the remaining bread crumbs, then spoon this mixture over the chicken.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until the chicken is fully cooked and golden brown on top.
